Ahoy everyone,

We have spent the last two days building the campsite in all the subcamps. We have had a great time reuniting with old friends and making new ones.

Today all the participants, leaders and service crew spent the day at the danish maritime museum in Helsingør. They had time to explore the museum and afterwards they walked to the shopping street, around the corner with their leaders. Some participants even took a swim in the harbour. A bit cold maybe?

We are excited to finally be able to carry out all the activities that have been planned for months by our amazing activity team.

We hope that you all had a great day.

Ahoy everyone,

This morning we all went back to the campsite from the youth island. When we got back to Gladsaxe, there was time to do some wellness-hygge and relax a bit before we started the activities for our international day.

For the international day, every delegation brought things and activities from their own culture and shared it with the rest. The participants, leaders, servicecrew etc. got to play cricket, try out a scottish dance and different kinds of food. Simultaneously the mayor of Gladsaxe Trine Græse, visited the campsite and walked around to all the delegations to say hello.

The day finised off with a big soda party where everybody had rich oppertunity to have a good time with karaoke and a dance floor.

Friday

Ahoy everyone,

Today we tested the participants in their skills on water. To do that we sailed in canoes all day. We spent the day on Furesø lake with the oldest subcamp, and took the younger subcamps to Bagsværd lake.

Some participants even build water rafts and used them on the water.

Saturday

5th of august

Ahoy everyone,

Today all the participants new found skills as well as old, came in handy because they finally found the East Pole, which ended up being at the exact same place as the campsite. Who would'a thought?

We all celebrated when the treasure chest was dug up, and all the participants got their scout badge.

Afterwards the focus for the rest of day was to tear down the campsite, since all the participants, leaders and servicecrew are going home tomorrow.

In the evening we held a closing campfire, and had a good time singing some campfire songs from the different delegations.

Ahoy everyone,

Sadly the PAGGS 2023 camp has come to an end.

We all gathered at the flagpoles to say our final goodbyes. A big group photo was taken, as well as delegation photos.

The two camp chiefs Frida and Kasper, also handed over the official PAGGS flag to Scotland, who are hosting PAGGS in 2025, which we are very much looking forward to!
